Comments and ColdFusion
My ColdFusion entry was discovered by the CF community and there have been many comments left recently, some in response to the points I was getting at, and some faulting me for my admittedly sensationalistic approach. I am working on a more in-depth and balanced entry regarding what I believe is really going on with ColdFusion, and why I'm not a fan.
In the meantime, a quick announcement. I discovered a significant number of comments that I overlooked, and I'm working through them right now and publishing valid ones to the site. I also discovered that my templates don't mention that comments posted to entries 30 or more days old must be approved by an admin before they display on the site. So if you left a comment and wondered where the heck it went, that's why.
I've also gotten tons of spam. Fortunately they're getting caught both by my spam filter and the same 30-day rule. But that makes it quite difficult to filter through and find the real comments. I apologize for those who commented a week or so ago and are only having their notes show up now. I'll get this thing sorted out soon.
Thanks for your patience, and also a big "thank you" to those who have commented, especially since I was a bit rude to those still using ColdFusion.

Stinking django, I thought it was suppose to prevent bugs like this. Just kidding, I could not help it.
