About the Author

Dave Lowe is a web designer and developer in the Southern California area. He works for Biola University by day and Blue Rocket Studios by night. He's been tinkering on the web for over 10 years, and using it for a career for almost 7.

At Biola, Dave serves as Web Developer for the Design Studio in Integrated Marketing Communications. His simple, self-stated goal is to find the best solution for every problem, from easy-to-use content management to accessible, standards-based markup.

Dave co-founded and is a principal at Blue Rocket Studios, a small web dev company centered around making quality web site solutions more accessible to small businesses.

Dave doesn't get around to writing as much as he'd like, but when he does he writes mostly about web standards, methods, methodologies and trends, technology (often Apple-related), and reflections on life and faith. He avoids writing in the third-person whenever he can.

Away from the web, Dave spends all the time he can with his wife of 5 years, Karen, and son, 2-year-old Zachary, and enjoys tennis and the occasional video game.
